INDIA: 5th most-affected country by COVID-19

  • India has become fifth worst- hit country by coronavirus in the world as its case count crossed 2.41 lakh on 6 june 2020.
  • Only the US, Brazil, Russia, Spain and the UK have more coronavirus than India.
  • India surpassed Italy and the Spain to reach the more unenviable milestone.
  • India registered a record single-day spike of 9,887 cases and 294 death on 6th june 2020.
